Yes, all discounted rates are displayed.
Do you use a 'live' booking system?
Yes, we have a live system to all the hotel chains. If a room is showing available then it is available.
Is there a booking fee?
No.
Can I use a Credit card to secure a booking?
Yes. All major credit cards are accepted. A credit card must be used to secure a booking.
Can I use a Debit card to secure a booking?
Visa Debit cards are accepted but Switch/Maestro and Solo are not.
How do I book more than one room?
When booking more than one room, book them under different names. The system may warn you that a duplicate booking is being made but continue as normal.
Can I speak to someone to make a booking?
Yes, telephone our reservations number - 0871 666 4 333 although booking on-line is quicker.
Can I choose any rate displayed?
You can book corporate, standard, discount, promotion and rack rates. You can only book Government, military & AAA rates if you are a member.
How do I cancel a booking?
All cancellations must by made with Direct-Hotels by calling 0871 666 4 333
Why are different rates shown for the same type of room?
Some hotels have a certain number of rooms at a reduced rate. Once these are sold the next rate band comes into effect.
Can I book a corporate rate?
Yes, as we are a company that book many hotel rooms we can offer 'corporate rates'
Is the rate per room or per person?
All rates shown are room rates based on the number of people you have entered.
Is breakfast included in the rate?
Breakfast is not included unless it is stated in the room description.
What is a Government Rate?
Government rates can only be booked by Government Employees. ID to prove you are a Government employee will be required at check-in.
What is an AAA rate?
AAA rates can only be booked by American Automobile Association members. Proof will be required at check-in.
What is a RACK rate?
RACK rates are the standard room rates.
How do I receive a booking confirmation?
A confirmation number is displayed on screen as soon as you place a booking. An e-mail is then sent to you within a few minutes with your confirmation number.
Will my credit card be charged?
No, not unless you have booked a 'pre pay' rate but this will be advised in the 'rate description'. Most rates displayed are pay on arrival or departure.
Who do I pay?
You pay the hotel direct on arrival or departure.
Why do you take credit card details?
Credit card details are taken to secure the room for you i.e.: for a late arrival.
Is the website secure?
Yes, SSL encryption is used when making a booking. A padlock will appear on the booking form in the bottom right-hand corner of your browser to show that the website is secure.

Check-out times are displayed in 'hotel info'
Is tax included in the room rate?
Most hotels include tax in the rate displayed but check 'Rate Rules' to be sure.

What is the Cancellation Policy?
The cancellation policy of a particular hotel is displayed when viewing room rates. Our cancellation policy is displayed in our Terms & Conditions.
