People enjoyed Eriyadu because it was a simple resort without any pretensions. At the same time the snorkeling was excellent and the island was beautiful. That shouldn't change, but the the public areas should mean still better value for money. All meals are served on buffet, in between the coffee shop is always their to serve hot snacks and drinks. These are also available in the bar, which is a large attractive thatched building built over the beach (right side picture).

The hotel is located to in the north of Male,40 munites from the international aireport .

The beach on Eriyadu goes right around the island and is mostly broad and fine, with one tongue of sand reaching far into the lagoon. The reef follows the shape of the island and never stays too far from shore, which means it is always accessible by swimming .And the snorkeling itself is excellent, with very good coral cover and fish numbers. It is so good that it is often dived as well; manta rays, eagle rays and tuna have all been seen.
