Our cuisine starts with the local specialities such as the famous Vogt region dumplings. Our food stretches beyond our frontiers with international dishes. Every one can find something to their taste. With regional and international cuisine in the Pfau Restaurant and with the Italian and American items in our Restaurant PPS Pizza, Pasta, Steak for the youngsters and families. The winter garden offers relaxation at the bar and when darkness falls you will be well looked after in the beer and whisky bar. In a quaint pub atmosphere we have over 24 types of beer and 32 whiskys for you to sample. You dont have to try them all in one evening!

Schoneck has distant views across the Kaiser & Fichtel mountains away to the Thuringian forest. At 800 meters above sea level Schoneck is the highest village in the Vogt region right in the centre of the Erzgebirge. Many people lovingly call Schonec

The Vogt region of Saxony is at the meeting point of the borders between Bavaria, Thuringia and the Czech Republic is a traditional centre for walking with well-marked paths. Additionally the area is known as an area for winter sports. But there is a lot more: gently rising hills, a varied landscape with many viewing points, the dams in the Vogt Switzerland as well as the many arrangements for spa guests and winter sports enthusiasts offers many possibilities. Castles, museums, monumental bridges and in particular the music corner around the Klingen valley, Markneukirchen and Erlbach, where many internationally recognised musical instrument makers have their workshops. This has truly made the Vogt area into a tuneful holiday region.
