Totally renovated in 2004, the Hotel de Toiras **** combines a wonderful location right off the historic port of Saint-Martin-de-Re. To restore the setting of this 17th century shipowner's residence, very meticulous care was taken in the choice of materials (old tiling, woodwork, etc), the fabrics and the antique furniture. Great attention was paid to the smallest detail. You will be welcomed in a cozy reception room that resembles a private study. The old flagstones in the lounge and the original old stone fireplace are very warm and welcoming.Right in the heart of the hotel, a small aromatic garden invites you to come and relax at any time of the day and enjoy the sweet fragrances of many different plants. Or in summer, you may enjoy the terrace on the harbor.The Island is well-known for, and benefits from a mild microclimate with a fantastic sunlight all year long. The hotel also reveals its charm off season with the old fireplace in the lobby, the view of the harbor, or the view of the aromatic garden in whole privacy.
