Property Information
Las Villas Akumal, Akumal Caribe
Property Detail 34 one, two and three bedroom beachfront fully equipped villas many with large beach front terrace and views of the Caribbean. It all started as a dream - Las Villas Akumal- first existed in the imagination of its creator architect Nicolas Hadjopulos- A love for the natural beauty of the area- which as a family they had visited for more than 20 years- gave birth to a loyalty to the architecture and open spaces of the region- to create a magical place that through its warm colors and ambiance absorbs us. Shape and design in constant contact with the gentle waves- white walls and open spaces in communication with nature- light- air- privacy- and well being- this is how we describe our paradise. An experience within which our physical and spiritual beings will begin a journey of appreciation and singularity with Mother Earth and the beauty of her nature- this is how we describe our paradise. We have thought of every detail to bring pleasure to the privileged few friends who have the opportunity to visit us and share unforgettable memories- Spacious Villas- warmly drizzled with Mayan and Mexican art- to remind us of the land we visit- kitchens with all that is necessary to create the smells and tastes that warm us and capture our imagination- Gardens splashed with natural color- and a comfort beyond the basic that enables our belief in Nirvana. We believe that where the heart is involved- more understanding and better results can be achieved- for this reason- in everything that we do we attain to include a little of that special part of ourselves- to ensure that your stay here will be the most unforgettable- We are sure that once you have enlightened your soul with us- you will be back time and time again to enjoy Las Villas Akumal- our and your Paradise.

Local Attractions
Playa del Carmen The main building boom is at Playa del Carmen, and its swanky neighbor, Playacar. This once sleepy Caribbean outpost has become the resort hub of what is now Mexico's major tourist destination. Playa del Carmen has easy access to Cancun's airport and hosts daily cruise ship arrivals and ferry departures to Cozumel Island. Also in Playa del Carmen is the very popular 5th Avenue. One block away from the beach, this street is mostly pedestrian walkway, comprising International restaurants, sidewalk cafes, handicraft stores, dive shops and almost anything else a visitor could ask for. At night, "fairy lights" in the trees and buildings add a bit of fantasy and escapism, leaving the vacationer wanting to do nothing more than sit and plan their next trip to Mexico. Xcaret Xcaret Eco Theme Park is full of Mexico; Mayan Culture, Flora and Fauna, Archaeological Tours, Water Attractions and has a great Swim With Dolphin Tour. All this located in Playa del Carmen, 45 minutes from Cancun Mexico in the Riviera Maya, where Xcaret is proof that development, conservation, culture and entertainment are not opposite concepts. Xel-Ha Xel-Ha has the most spectacular natural aquarium of the world for you to experience the real aquatic adventure. Explore this theme park and enjoy , adventure activities, natural, ecological attractions and water activities like diving or snorkeling in creeks, lagoons, natural wells and ancient caves fed by subterranean rivers flowing to the beautiful Mexican Caribbean Sea of the Riviera Maya. Swim with dolphins There are different places throughout the Riviera Maya that you can swim with dolphins, the closest is only 10 minutes away. Golf here are many different courses throughout the Riviera Maya to put on your plus fours, strut your funky on the green rug and practice your swing. Tulum Tulúm is the most visited of the Maya sites in the Yucatán Although the ruins are structurally less impressive than Chichén Itzá or Uxmal and much less extensive, they have the azure Caribbean as a backdrop. Coba Cobá is beautiful and mysterious - a visit here requires some effort but is very worthwhile. Its name means "ruffled waters", derived from the five lakes in the vicinity, and it is one of the oldest Mayan settlements on the peninsular. At 42 mts it also boasts the highest pyramid in the area. Chichen Itza The ruins of Chichén Itzá lie about midway between Cancún and Mérida. Chichén Itzá is the most visited site in the Yucatán and it can get very crowded here, so if at all possible try to arrive soon after the 8am opening. Puerto Aventuras Puerto Aventuras is a world class residential community resort located in the heart of the Riviera Maya on the Mexican Caribbean. Here you will find a magical blend of lush tropical beauty with an easygoing yet sophisticated life style. Cancun Cancun has long been the choice of many travellers to Mexico. Cancun hotels provide lodging options for every taste that will surely please the most demanding guests. The magnificent Cancun resorts are what set Cancun apart from other tourist cities and many of them feature all-inclusive plans where you will have all meals, beverages and entertainment included.
