Scandic Mölndal is a newly-built hotel, constructed with great care for the environment and opened in 2000. All rooms have wooden floors and furnishings in Scandinavian wood. Among our 208 rooms, we have Business rooms and Suites, and 99 Family rooms for up to four people. Our relaxation centre on the 6th floor offer guests the use of Jacuzzi, saunas, and fitness equipment - all with views over Mölndal. Our restaurant and bar are situated in the atrium on the ground floor, where you can start the day with a large breakfast buffet. For lunch or dinner we offer you, among other choices, our popular à la carte menu; younger guests have their own menu. If you want only a cup of coffee or tea and a sandwich, visit our no-smoking coffee shop by the front desk. Our seven conference rooms are all bright and airy; the largest seats up to 180 people. Scandic Mölndal is already one of Gothenburg's most popular hotels for business travelers, families, sports groups and conference delegates.

Standard Room - Standard Room
All our rooms are built to meet our high environmental standards. Our Standard rooms are on the second, third and fourth floors and are furnished in bright colors and Scandinavian wood. All rooms have a TV, a telephone, a dataport, a trouser/skirt press, and an ironing board and iron. Most of our rooms have a shower, and some also have a bathtub.
Suite - Suite
All our rooms are built to meet our high environmental standards. Our suite is on the 6th floor, and is furnished with bright colours and Scandinavian wood. It has TV, minibar, telephone, data port, trouser/skirt press, ironing board and iron, and bath tub with shower. The bed has a Dux® mattress, for your sleeping comfort. The suite comprises two rooms — a bedroom and a living room. The living room has a sofa, two armchairs and a TV. The suite is near the relaxation centre.
Superior Room - Other room type than std, dlx, ste, ... etc.
All our rooms are built to meet our high environmental standards. Our Superior rooms are located on the 6th floor and are furnished in bright colors and Scandinavian wood. All rooms have a TV, a telephone, a dataport, a trouser/skirt press, and an ironing board and iron. Most of our rooms have a shower, and some also have a bathtub.
Superior Plus Room - Other room type than std, dlx, ste, ... etc.
All rooms are built to meet our high environmental standards. Our deluxe rooms are located on the 6th floor, and are furnished with bright colors and Scandinavian wood. All rooms have a minibar, sofa and armchairs, TV, telephone, data port, trouser/skirt press, ironing board and iron. Most of our rooms have a shower and some have a bath tub. We have Dux® mattresses for your sleeping comfort. Deluxe rooms are close to our relaxation centre.

Our restaurant is located in the hotel's large atrium. We start the day with a large breakfast buffet for all hotel guests. On weekdays we offer a buffet lunch and à la carte meals. For dinner we serve everything from simple dishes to full 3-course à la carte dinner.

Scandic Molndal is located in central Mölndal, 6 km south of Gothenburg. There are very good public transport links connecting Mölndal with Gothenburg. It takes about 15 minutes by tram 4 from Mölndal to Gothenburg, 10 minutes by commuter train and 20 minutes by local bus.
