Renvyle House is located on the unspoilt coast of Connemara, nestling between the mountains and the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. It is surrounded by some 200 acres of farm, lake and walking lands. It nestles between the Twelve Bens and The Atlantic Ocean protected by Inishbofin, Inisturk, Clare Islands. Its former owner, Oliver St. John Gogarty, through his literary fame attracted many distinguished guests such as William Butler Yeats, Augustus John Winston Churchill. Renvyle House is a house of immense character and history with fine fare in our award winning restuarant, an extensive wine list and dozens of open fires making it an ideal base for your holiday. Renvyle House is unique on the West Coast by virtue of the number of facilities which we offer on site, free, to our guests including Golf, Hill Walking, Swimming Pool, All Weather Tennis Courts, Trout Fishing, Cycling, Croquet, Boating and Lawn Bowls. we also have our own riding stables on the grounds of the hotel.
